In 2021, Stacey was honored with the prestigious “Top 25 Under 35 Movers and Shakers” Award, presented by The Cleveland Professional 20/30 Club. Mentor of the Year - 2018: Stacey’s Unwavering Impact

In 2018, Stacey was honored as the Mentor of the Year by College Now Greater Cleveland, a testament to her profound impact on those she supports. Her mentee, Tashir Stover, describes Stacey’s influence as life-changing:

"Let me start by just saying, one paragraph is not sufficient enough to describe how Stacey has impacted my life. Stacey should definitely be Mentor of the Year because she is helping me through the most nerve-racking part of my life so far - a personal, life-altering change. Also, I am strongly introverted and so I am not as readily open about intimate subjects with others. Most of the time, it's honestly a struggle for me to just say 'Hi' to a new person. But, it had been extremely easy to connect with Stacey from the start. Anyway, when I told her about this life-altering change, she immediately affirmed me, simply by saying that she would address me in any manner that I wanted and our relationship wouldn't change because of it. I even disclosed this information to her, before my siblings and father, which gave me the confidence to tell some of them and eventually the rest. Honestly, she has become like another sister to me and I have even had the honor of inviting her to a family gathering recently. She seems to fit right in. In addition to that, she introduced me to opportunities that I probably would not have explored, otherwise, like eating at different restaurants and attending a lecture on Dark Matter and a play. She provides a lot of laughs, great advice, warm smiles and hugs, words of wisdom, and a sense of peace when I am with her. Most importantly for me, at least, she is open to sharing parts of her life, too. This is helping me feel more comfortable with expressing myself and engaging with others. Thank you, Stacey, for helping me become more comfortable in my own skin and being more of a sister to me than a mentor. Considering that I have four sisters, I didn't expect to have another in three years’ time. Haha."
